Dr. Megan Post, DDS, MAGD

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Megan Post earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1999 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. She was elected President of the student chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists during dental school. With over 22 years of experience, Dr. Post has spent more than two decades practicing general dentistry in the Atlanta area before purchasing Decatur Dental Care in January 2024. She is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)—the organization’s highest honor—and an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, Georgia Academy of General Dentistry, Atlanta Seattle Study Club, and the Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Post’s approach to dentistry is conservative and patient-centered. She believes in listening closely to her patients’ needs and providing comfortable, individualized care designed to build long-term relationships—one patient at a time. Outside the office, Dr. Post enjoys spending time with her husband of nearly 20 years and their three children. She also loves dancing, taking ballet and jazz classes, and staying active with family and friends.
